Dr. Hancox enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in oral surgery and working with pediatric patients.
Hi, I'm Dr. Hancox. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Biopsychology. Following my undergraduate degree, I enrolled in the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry graduating in 2021 and receiving the Golden Scaler Award for a high standing in Clinical Periodontics.
After dental school, I moved to Dauphin, Manitoba where I practiced dentistry for just over 3 years before returning to Winnipeg to join Norwood Dental Centre.
I am a caring and compassionate dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with particular interest in oral surgery and working with pediatric patients. I enjoy attending local continuing education sessions with the General Practice Study Club and the Winnipeg Endodontic Study Group. It is important to me to have good communication and work collaboratively with my patients to help prioritize their concerns.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending my time outdoors cross-country skiing and hiking or attending Pilates classes. You can always find me spending time with my rescue dog Ollie, and my cat Marty
